CHEMICAL BRIGHTENING

We currently offer both Phosbrite 156 and Phosbrite 159 brightening finishes.

Maximum length for 159                  2.3 metres

Maximum length for 156                  3.0 metres

Phosbrite 156 chemical brightener is a mixture based on sulphuric acid and phosphoric acid.
This produces a semi-bright finish although this is rapidly improving on certain new alloys.

Phosbrite 159 chemical brightener include nitric acid in the mixture and provides a brighter finish, particularly used in conjunction with brightly polished components.
The inclusion of nitric acid results in NOx production. This requires much higher pollution control and therefore entails higher cost.
